FreakBike Milita-West Palm: Chopppernite # 9 Resheduled

ChopperNite # 9 Rescheduled (that Wilma so rudely stole from us) This ChopperNite started out with everyone meeting up at the usual place (Southern and the Intracoastal) with everyone wearing their planned outfits from the Halloween ride.

This ride was dubbed "The Nightmare before Christmas ride!!"

There was 117 riders showing up in rather chilly conditions. Lots of cool bikes and costumes. Great costumes were everywhere...what a close decision on the overall winner. The looks people gave us while cruising through downtown were worth a million bucks. The Palm Beach Post was there to witness the festivities and document the madness.

With a buck a ticket an aluminum Sun chopper/cruiser was raffled off during this ride. The Sun chopper/cruiser was donated by a local shop (donated by Fat Cat bicycles and Cheryl Ullich, thanks guys!). The Sun Chopper/cruiser was a pretty nice Standard Cruiser style frame, Silver in color with black Ape hangers, black aluminum rims, fully fendered with tribal graphics on 'em.

The raffle raised over 370 bucks for couple of ladies that was raising money for Luekemia/Lymphoma and they needed to raise a certain amount to be able to go and do a Marathon, in Disney this January.

Roseanne, a mountain bike gal from Deerfield, took home the cruiser from the raffle.

All in all not a bad night considering 4 days before Christmas and people should have been home wrappin' presents and stuff!

The "nightmare" couple took home the awesome trophy made by Suzy Play.

Satan himself was a very close second followed by the Addams family. A couple of hot lookin' vampire chicks were floating around, KISS was there, Jason and his hockey mask were onboard the most hideous lookin' three wheeler (until he folded a rear wheel doin a broadslide!) And the long distance award went to a guy from New Symrna beach.
